This year 2001 brings forth the 14th anniversary of the Wâldrock festival in Bergum, Holland. Although a relatively small festival with a capacity of roughly 12.000 people, Wâldrock has over the years become a solid and interesting festival for metal-fans. Most 'big names' of the metal scene have shared it's stage (Ministry, Sepultura, Type-O-Negative, Megadeth and Slayer to name but a few), so no wonder the festival has often been referred to as 'Dynamo's little brother'. This year the organisation had put together a very experimental bill. Rockezine wouldn't miss it for the world, so once again the trip to most northern part of Holland was made to make an extensive report of this festival.
