The first weekend in July was reserved for the 6th edition of the Graspop Metal Meeting. And when we finally arrived we draw the conclusion that we weren't the only metal heads that found their way to Dessel (Belgium) this year. The campsite was well situated and a lot bigger compared to last year. But with great bands as Slayer, Dream Theater, My Dying Bride, Anathema, Immortal and many others this weekend would be already a classic. And when the tent was finally standing I had to conclude that we missed In Extremo and Moonspell. But it certainly is amazing how clear songs as "Opium" and "Vampiria" sounded. When we arrived at the festival site Kreator just started. |
