At the end of the show singer Stewart Collier sang over the top. Of course the legendary ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ was played as the last song of the show. Unfortunately the vocals weren’t that great. As always the end of the show was also in the style of Curt Cobain; throwing amplifiers on stage.

At the moment the first sounds of Thin Lizzy resounded in the hall (‘Jailbreak’), the audience got what they had been waiting for; great hard rock of the band of Phil Linot, who unfortunately died much too young. With John Sykes as captain, Scot Gorham as the longest Thin Lizzy member and Tommy Aldridge on drums the band did a best-of Thin Lizzy.

The audience didn’t want anything else. Great songs, great sound; a superb show of a band on age. The band had a great time themselves that night. Surely with songs as ‘Alibi’, ‘Cold Sweet’, ‘Emerald’ and ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’.

At ‘Bad Reputation’ the stage was free for Tommy Aldridge; this drum hero showed how to play a drum solo, even after he had thrown the drum sticks into the audience he kept on playing with bare hands. After the break it was time for ‘Boys are Back in Town’ and ‘Rosalie’. The band left the stage and after a long call for more finally ‘The Black Rose’ was played. The evening could have been concluded better.

Although the sound was rather loud, the audience went back home very satisfied; back to the present time again.
